HUGE OLD Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace 260grm
This listing features a vintage Navajo Squash Blossom Necklace handcrafted from Sterling Silver and Natural Turquoise. NOTE: Please view all 24 photos. Last 4 photos show necklace on a 5'8 tall, women's size 4 model. This vintage Navajo necklace was handcrafted by a skilled Silversmith during the mid to later-mid century.
It features a classic squash design with natural untreated Turquoise set in sterling silver. It's beautifully crafted with heavy gauge silver and weighs in at a hefty 260 grams.
The stones have bright vivid color hues of blue to green and are heavily included with natural matrixes, including pyrite. They appear to be old Royston stones but, we aren't 100% sure. The stones are in good vintage condition, while sitting tight and secure. The Naja is made from a thick single shank while the blossoms carry strong triple fluted petals, all of which are in great shape. The pearls are all original, free from dents, and strung on a soldered link chain with a hook and eye clasp at each end. There is no sterling stamp or signature which is common for vintage Navajo jewelry. The silver was tested and we guarantee it's purity of. This beautiful squash will be a great addition to any vintage collection.Wear with pride and enjoy! Length - The length measures 28 from end to end. Naja Measurements - The Naja measures just a hair over 3-1/2" tall by 3-1/4" wide.
Blossom Measurements - The 10 blossoms slightly graduate in size from 2-1/8" long too 1-5/8" long. Pearl Measurements - The pearls measure 8 millimeters (about 5/16). Stamped Sterling - NO, tested and verified.
Signed by Artist - NO. Mid to Later-Mid Century, 1950's +. Condition - Preowned, in good vintage condition with all of its original stones and a natural patina, ready to wear or display.
