Old Vintage Native American Navajo Sterling Silver Carinated Dot Bracelet

This heavy silver bracelet is unusual. The form starts out with a not-too-different style of one section and slightly carinated edges, but what makes it uncommon is the application of those many silver dots, which in Navajo jewelry are called raindrops, all along the top in the row. The use of just silver raindrops was common in Fred Harvey style jewelry, and this could have been influenced by that although this is anything but the thin style that we associate with Fred Harvey style. The era is the same, just the weight tells us this was not at all made as souvenir jewelry. Looks great worn alone, although when worn in a stack, it adds a completely different texture, which is what I love most. The cuff is just over 11mm wide. Measuring end to end with a soft tape measure on the inside, it is 5"¼ long with a 1"¼ gap, weight48.7grams great addition to your collection?? no marks but tested as sterling silver.
